PIPSC also engages on concerns related to the federal government's growing reliance on outsourcing and professional services contracts and the need to rebuild in-house public sector capacity.
PIPSC advocacy focuses on the protection of scientific integrity and the role of evidence-based decision-making across federal departments and agencies, along with the integrity and fairness of Canada’s tax system, including appropriate resourcing for enforcement and compliance, and broader workforce management policies related to recruitment, retention, and the preservation of specialized expertise within the federal public service.Read more
