Engage with government and provide guidance with regard to the establishment and implementation of an effective electric vehicle strategy for Canada in a holistic manner, focused on demand and supply policy in the electric vehicle space. This further includes providing recommendations to government in regard to transitioning some demand-side program funding streams from tax-base to revenue-neutral, non-tax and avoidable regulatory charges, while increasing access and providing program benefits to consumers interested in larger vehicle classes.
